About me

As a certified DaF teacher (German as a foreign language), I have been teaching German since 2018. While I started out teaching at language schools, I switched to online teaching during the Corona Pandemic. In the process, I gradually shifted more and more towards offering individual lessons and was thrilled to see how productive language teaching online can be.
 

• Thanks to my years of experience, I have constantly optimized my method of individualized language teaching. An important part of this includes analyzing difficulties that learners of German face. As a result, I am able to quickly address problems and provide suggestions on how to overcome them. 

• I studied art history and psychology at universities in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and the Netherlands. Thus, adapting to different contexts (including academic ones) is comfortable for me, as well as acquiring and teaching branch-specific vocabulary when necessary.

• I myself love learning languages. I speak German (native), English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and French. Certainly not all of them perfect, but it gives me an advantage to put myself in the shoes of my students. 

• I am convinced that language learning has to be fun in order to be successful in the long term. I love to combine humor and professionalism.
